BUBBLEGUM CRISIS THEME PACK FOR WINDOWS 95 AND WIN-NT WITH THE NEW SHELL! Compiled by Ben Kosse (bmk7411@cs.rit.edu) Obligitory Disclaimer: There are no expressed or implied warranties which accompany this theme pack. I better tell you how this works. All you need to do is unzip it into the directory MS-Plus put your themes. It will create a directory called "Bubblegum_Crisis" (the miracles of long filenames), and put the necessary files in there. Then, you just need to start "Desktop Themes" under Control Panel, and select this one. A couple of warnings. There's no screen saver module here. So, you MAY have to reinstall your screen saver. It does use an 800x600 wallpaper, but it selects auto-size to screen. It properly fit on my screen when I tried it. The reason I did it in 800x600 is that I run at 800x600, and I wanted to use an image editor for the resizing, not MS-Plus' built-in resizer (which leaves VERY poor quality screen fits, trust me!). The Icon files SHOULD work (I had to add a border to them, which Win95 eats off on my computer). Now, I've got to say that this is an E-Mail-ware theme pack. The registration cost is a piece of E-Mail or a postcard/letter, just to let me know that you're using it. Please include any suggestions for improvements, too. My E-Mail address is bmk7411@cs.rit.edu My mail address is: Ben Kosse CPU 00684 Grace Watson Hall Rochester, NY 14623-5602 This is version .75a, it now includes a logo.sys, logos.sys, and logow.sys, but not a screensaver. .9a will include the animated cursors, and 1.0 will include a screensaver and an install program (hopefully! :) If anyone out there knows how to write a screensaver, PLEASE tell me! Version 1.0 will be delayed until I learn how. (FYI, I legally own a copy of Watcom C++ 10.5, and will be writing the module in that, if possible) Thanks again, and don't forget to visit: http://www.rit.edu/~bmk7411 ---------------------------------------------------------- Ben Kosse bmk7411@cs.rit.edu Homepage (http://www.rit.edu/~bmk7411) The poet lifts his pen on the blackest of nights.
